Poké Lid Journey

How the stamp book works

Keep a record of the 474 Poké Lids across Japan, using photos you take yourself. It is free and there are no ads.

1. Create an account

Sign up with your email address and a password. Open the link in the email you receive, then enter your trainer name and trainer code. We never send you notices by email.

2. Take a photo at the lid

Photograph the Poké Lid. Leaving location services on makes registering quicker. Most lids are set into roads and pavements, so watch for traffic and pick a safe spot to stop.

3. Add the photo

Open your stamp book and choose “Add a photo”. JPEG, PNG or WEBP, up to 30MB each, up to 30 photos a day.

4. How the place is decided

Some phones strip location data from photos (it depends on the model and how the photo was shared). You can still register those by picking the lid yourself.

5. About the review

So that photos of other things do not slip in, an administrator looks at them. Once approved, the lid counts toward your total. Anything that could not be registered is shown in your stamp book with the reason. Remove it and you can register the same place again.

6. Gifting to friends

Once a lid has been confirmed, you can gift it to friends you have approved each other with — up to 3 people per lid. What they receive counts toward their total too.
